The coolest part is, every type of moterized vehicle you can think of, from motorcycles to big trucks and cars of all kinds, race in this famous / gruelling / brutal / 16 day rally. FYI: The event is televised by the owners of the Dakar Rally to various networks worldwide... in 190 countries. In the USA it will be shown on either SPEED, Velocity, or one of the ESPN Channels. Check your local listings. The race starts on Saturday, January 5th... but I'm not sure of the time. Everyone should be able to find something to relate to and cheer for... be it driver (male & female) or a vehilcle that they own. Enjoy!
