Mysterious Ancient "Winged Structure" Discovered in UK

Thought you'd find this news below interesting. (Note: Anything ancient, archeological or architectural interests me.... cuz you know I love "connecting the dots". )

This story is about unearthing previously unknown types of archeology and architecture... suspected to be from the era of the Iceni Tribe and Boudica the Warrior Queen.

BTW... a few years ago there was an interesting documentary movie made about Boudica the Warrior Queen. I highly recommend it. Can be seen on TV occasionally. See 3 links below.

I love archeology and world history! This latest archeological discovery in Turkey is a real "game changer" historically speaking... as it changes everything we ever knew or ever thought we knew... scientifically, historically and/or biblically! Watch it and see.

Note that only about 5% of it has been unearthed to date. Imagine what the next 95% of this discovery will show us. Mind-boggling, to say the least. But it will take many years to complete this work. And my guess is... because one thing always leads to another... before they are done unearthing this place it will end up being larger than first thought.

At this point no one knows who built this place... why they built it... and how they built it... 12,000 years ago!!!! -- Phew! Hard to get one's brain around that much ancient history, especially since we have long thought that civilization as we know it, biblically speaking, started about 6,000 years ago.

Can hardly wait for the "rest of the story". This is why I love the HISTORY CHANNEL and HISTORY INTERNATIONAL channel. Those channels take us to places we would never see otherwise. Such things enrich our lives greatly.

PS: For the record, my construction company, HILLMAN CONSTRUCTION CORP., has been around a long time... but HILLMAN CONSTRUCTION was not the General Contractor on this project. That I can attest to. Not did we do any of the design work... or pull permits for any part of this project on behalf of any non-licensed "builder dejour". Besides, the staute of limitations has long since expired, especially on roofing warrantees.

Missing Millionaire CEO reappears after 20 Years!!!

I have a connection to this story, in that I designed and built the first two ComputerLand stores in Florida... one in Ft. Lauderdale and one in Deerfield Beach. They were very nice stores with expensive finishes... approx. 5,000 sq. ft. in size.

I never had any problems with this company. They were a first-class act and they paid their bills on time and in full. This is a lot more than I can say for other retailers for which I have built stores, warehouses and corporate offices.

I was not aware of the problems outlined in the link attached above... not did I have any dealings with William Millard, founder and CEO of ComputerLand. However, I have always wondered why ComputerLand faded from the retail scene in Florida. This is an interesting short read about a very clever but mysterious & reclusive multi-millionaire businessman.
