Dubai, Fastest Growing City in the World!

I have friends and business associates who have traveled here and worked here... and all of them loved it. Now, due to the long economic recession in the USA and a shortage of jobs, especially in the construction industry, it is my intention to find work in the UAE in Dubai or Abu Dhabi in the very near future. Doha in Qatar is also a possibilty. Other Middle East countries that are possibilities for me are: Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iraq. Regardless of where I end up, I will continue blogging with interesting and eclectic topics.

PS: The recent financial problems of a company in Dubai, called 'DUBAI WORLD', is not as bad as it appears. -- First, it is just one company that has a cash flow problems (albeit a $60 Billion shortfall) and this will not have an effect on the other countries in the Middle East. -- Secondly, Abu Dhabi is the capital and financial center of the UAE and they are extremely wealthy and flush with cash in Abu Dhabi and they can easily bail out this company in Dubai if they so choose.

Conclusion: Our Founding Fathers gave us a REPUBLIC so as to protect us from a true democracy! We are loosing our liberties whether we realize it or not.
